Very good navigation program, but since the last version 14.3.1 I can not any longer download maps nor voices. May be this is due to the fact that I am not in my home country, but I did not find any message about such a restriction. Otherwise I am happy with the integration of contacts into Sygic and the way you are guided by the voice.
Brilliant app. Excellent features. Would like to see actual speed a bit better displayed but overall fantastic. I have tried other major apps but this is by far the best.
Just returned from European holiday. Teamed the app up to a GNS GPS Bluetooth receiver with the iPad. This app rocks! End result was a GPS screen the size of the iPad. Worked so well the passengers in the car could see the screen in the front. App never crashed, worked flawlessly, gave us warnings and notifications in plenty of time. Roads were all accurately displayed. It plotted a trip from Amsterdam, Netherlands to Ouistreham, France, by the fastest route, avoiding toll roads without error. As well as the return trip. France has a lot of toll roads. Never paid one Euro in toll! This saved the amount of money that the app cost! We would still be looking for the way to France if we didnt have this app. The app also worked with my 2nd gen iPod touch, as a back up if necessary. This GPS system mated to the iPad with Sygic Western Europe app was the best thing I took with me. The app was so easy to program, I cant believe how simple it came to learning the program. All 4 adults finished the trip saying that it was what made the trip worry free, and would not do any trip like this again without it.
Great app! Only flaw there are no maps updates for a long time! Please do something!!!
Some bad moments
When I first bought this app I also bought the city guides, which were great. Then Sygic came up with an upgrade which included the city guides for free. I downloaded the upgrade.
Now the city guides disappeared
So the upgrade ended up actually being a downgrade from what I paid
Also the POIs should be grouped by type such as restaurants or shops
It doesnt do that
Also there is no way or at least I havent found it of getting customer support.
Please sygic give me back what I paid.
You downgraded my app.
Do not buy this app. My sister and I went backpacking in Italy and saw this app, saw that it was a "reliable" offline GPS, so we purchased it. Low and behold, the thing lags so hard and gets us lost 4 hours into nowhere. Completely unreliable. If you buy this app, dont say I didnt warn you.
The GPS navigation on this software hangs for long periods. It may use Tom-Tom like maps...but it is not able to navigate traffic in real-time.
I am an angry customer here! I bought 3 different region Sygic Maps but Western EU does not load maps! I tried 2 days in a row to download Germany map, downloaded 2 times over 600MB data and after download finishes there is a funyy message saying "ups there was stg wrong with your download"!!!!!
Guys, you cant just say ups! Sygic costed me more to download maps by using my internet line than the app itself!!!
Pls fix your servers or let people to stop trying downloading maps! I traveled to Germany without maps, paid for your app but could not use it! How worse can it be?
I have already tried this while in Hannover, Germany. Good. I am satisfied.
Just one of the best navigator on the AppStore.
Ive got TomTom too, but it doesnt works very well as Sygic do.
